Tooling and Co-development Department
Plastil France has its own tooling department, enabling it to contribute its expertise from the initial profile design stage to ensure the feasibility and success of your project. This collaborative development work with your team reduces manufacturing time and, consequently, the cost of tooling.
The recent integration of a high-performance 3D solution (Figure 4 Standalone) allows us to quickly create prototypes, enabling you to validate initial assumptions and then approve the execution plan.
We foster technical collaboration between our various production sites and harmonize manufacturing methods to provide you with peace of mind through the versatility and complementarity of our equipment.
A streamlined industrial model
To meet today’s economic and operational challenges, we have adapted our organization to ensure maximum efficiency. The manufacturing activities previously based at our Telford facility—including our technical profiles and historic tambour door systems—have been consolidated into our primary, state-of-the-art production hub in Maulévrier, France.
By centralizing our manufacturing, we gather our advanced engineering expertise under one roof, guarantee rigorous European quality standards, and optimize our production capacity.
Our team
Our team in Maulévrier and Bellegarde includes 38 people working together for Plastil France. We are a receptive team wanting to do our best to satisfy our customers, thus we are able to adapt to working hazards of daily business life. We can run extra hours or shift them if needed to respond to production or customer requirements. Our team is an integral asset to Plastil. We are happy to work in hand with our colleagues, customers, prospects, suppliers or any service providers, knowing that trust and understanding are assets to our success and supplies to yours.
